TitleArt Thief Game
DescriptionWe would like to create a game to teach people about art (specific objectives to be determined later).

Each player is a detective traveling around to famous museums of the (western) world trying to secure famous masterpieces before they are stolen by an infamous art thief (and before the other detectives arrive).

Instead of a game that asks a bunch of questions about art, we intend to couch learning in the "fun" of trying to prevent a crime. We will include educational material about the art/artists and also some "fate" cards that will affect the players.

This is the brain-child of Gina Yusypchuk (graphic designer), Sean McCarty (SME & graphic designer), and me, Holly Peters (SME & organizer). Each of us would be an audience expert as we expect our audience to be anyone with an 8th grade reading level or higher who is interested in art and/or museums.

Suggestions are welcome and much appreciated. Thanks!
