| Description | Educational value: Grade 6/7 Math (focus on consumer math) Number of players: Minimum 2, maximum 4. Age: 12 and up. Story: You want to hold a party but you need "stuff" to make the party fun. With limited cash, what do you do? Goal: Be the first to complete the purchase of pre-determined party items. Game play: Board is split into 2 zones - the Mall (where players have the option to buy items) and the Neighborhood (where players have options to make money). Players start out with a fixed amount of money but not enough to purchase all required items at the Mall. They will have to generate income by taking up work opportunities at the Neighborhood. Chance cards present risks and opportunities. Players will get to practice their math skill (consumer math) during all the transactions in the game. Team complete with members Andrew, Cathy, & Lennon. |
