TitleFirst 100 Days
DescriptionI have an brainstorm idea for a game which involves students using the content of the Constitution, in which they place themselves in the shoes of a recent winner of a US presidential election. I was thinking students would use chance cards to determine their scenarios and dice to determine their fate; e.g. a president attempting to get Congress to pass a piece of legislation and the chances it would pass based on dice roll or the chances the Supreme Court would overturn or remand a president/Congressional piece of legislation based on a dice roll. Seems like a good way to teach checks and balances & the first 100 days of the presidency. Other players would include leaders or politicians in Congress, and possibly federal judges. I envision a 1 or 2 day game. 4-5 players.
